Junior Sous Chef

SUMMARY:
Our client is looking for a talented and motivated Junior Sous Chef to join their culinary team at their prestigious 5-star hotel. The ideal candidate will support the Sous Chef and Executive Chef in delivering high-quality cuisine, maintaining kitchen standards, and ensuring smooth kitchen operations.

POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in preparing and presenting high-quality dishes across all sections
• Supervise and guide junior kitchen staff in daily operations
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, food safety, and hygiene
• Help with menu planning, stock control, and inventory management
• Ensure consistent food quality and portion control
• Take charge of the kitchen in the absence of the Sous Chef

• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in a professional kitchen, preferably in a luxury or fine-dining setting
• Strong culinary skills and a passion for quality food preparation
• Good organizational and leadership abilities
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and kitchen hygiene practices
• Culinary degree or equivalent professional training preferred
• Flexible schedule, with the ability to work shifts, weekends, and holidays
