Junior Seed Production Advisor

SUMMARY:
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Junior Seed Production Advisor to join our agricultural team based in George or Oudtshoorn. The ideal candidate will assist with seed production activities, including crop reporting, field inspections, and accurate record-keeping. A keen interest or background in agriculture will be highly beneficial.

POSITION INFO:

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with the planning, monitoring, and documentation of seed production crops.
• Conduct regular field inspections and collect data on crop growth, performance, and quality.
• Support the production team with crop reporting, data capturing, and document management.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records for production and quality control.
• Provide general administrative and operational support to the Seed Production Advisor and broader team.
• Ensure all activities comply with company policies and industry quality standards.

Requirements:

• Diploma in Agriculture or a related qualification (advantageous).
• Knowledge and understanding of seed production or crop management practices.
• Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Effective communication and reporting abilities.
• Reliable, proactive, and able to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Valid driver’s license.
