SUMMARY:
We’re recruiting on behalf of a well-established business in the pump and fluid-handling industry, looking to appoint a technically minded and motivated Junior Sales / Driver / Workshop Assistant. This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for someone eager to gain hands-on exposure across sales support, logistics, and workshop operations, with clear long-term career growth potential.

POSITION INFO:
In this role, you will support the Branch Manager and technical team by assisting with customer engagement, deliveries, and workshop activities. You’ll gain practical experience working with pumps and related equipment, while developing foundational skills in technical sales and service support.

This position is ideal for a reliable individual, with strong mechanical aptitude, who is looking to build a career within a technical and engineering-focused environment.

Education:

Matric or equivalent qualification
Valid South African driver’s license

Job Experience & Skills Required:

Technically minded with good mechanical aptitude
Willingness to learn pump systems, components, and basic repair processes
Strong communication skills and customer-focused mindset
Reliable, punctual, and able to work effectively in a team
Ability to follow instructions and complete tasks efficiently

Advantageous:

Previous exposure to pumps, motors, or fluid-handling systems
Experience in a workshop, technical sales, or engineering environment
Basic computer literacy (Excel, Word, and Outlook)
