SUMMARY:
Siviwe Industries is looking for a Junior Quantity Surveyor. This is a 3-month contract position (which will serve as a probation period) and thereafter reviewed for a permanent position.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Desired Experience & Qualification

1-2 years’ experience as a Quantity Surveyor.
National Diploma in Quantity Surveying (Preferable).

Duties & Responsibilities:

Site visits to measure quantities & prepare quotations.
Research market related rates for installation.
Attend tender briefings
Assist in carrying out estimating of construction works prior to tender

Skills:

Excellent attention to detail.
Knowledge of building and construction.
Ability to use your initiative.
Analytical thinking skills.
