JOB DESCRIPTION:

Junior Project Engineer: Cape Town

18 months contract with an opportunity to become permanent

What will you be doing?

Manage several small to medium sized multidisciplinary projects.

What do you need?

Matric and BTech/HND in Mechanical Engineering + seven years’ experience
Preferably in the building services environment
Knowledge of food or pharmaceutical industries would be advantageous.

The role requires:

Detailed design of HVAC, fire protection, materials handling, and piped services, including steam, chilled water, compressed air, potable water
Knowledge of interfaces with building works, structures, electrical supplies, and control/instrumentation is required
Project coordination, preparation of tender documentation, tender adjudication, contract administration and cost control, preparation and monitoring of construction programs and health and safety.
