SUMMARY:
A leading Engineering company based on the East Rand is looking for a Junior Process Engineer to join their team!

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Minimum Education: BEng Degree in Chemical, Manufacturing or Industrial Engineering

Minimum Experience: 2 – 3 years’ experience within a similar role

Duties and Requirements includes but is not limited to the following:

Ensure continuous improvement, lessons learnt, value engineering, fit for purpose and latest technologies are implemented
With supervision provide discipline designs in accordance with client standards and specifications, industry standards and the relevant legislation (quality of design)
Ensure (certified) design information received from vendors, contractors and consultants is relevant and accurate
Manage the mark-up and back draughting of redline drawings
Assist with process adjudications by compiling adjudication sheets with project engineer’s inputs
Provide a high level of quality process deliverables accurately and timeously
Assist with the process related commissioning activities of the project
Ensure that the installation is in accordance with the project and vendor specifications provide for the expected process functionality
Liaise and co-ordinate with the client's discipline engineers to ensure adherence to project and client requirements and specifications
