Junior Plant Superintendent

JOB DESCRIPTION

We are seeking a Junior Plant Superintendent to join our team in Polokwane / Pietersburg. As a key member of the operations team, you will report to the Production Manager and play a vital role in the day-to-day management and optimization of plant operations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist in managing and optimizing plant operations
• Monitor plant performance, production targets, recoveries, and quality
• Identify and implement operational solutions
• Work closely with production and engineering teams
• Maintain equipment and ensure reliable plant operation
• Manage operational teams and uphold standards of safety and discipline
• Develop a strong understanding of mineral processing

JOB REQUIREMENTS

We are looking for candidates with a background in Mining and a postgraduate degree in Mechanical, Metallurgical, or Chemical Engineering. Key qualifications include Honours: B Eng (Mechanical), Honours: BEng Metallurgical, Honours: BSc Chemical Engineering.
