Junior Payroll and Financial Administrator

SUMMARY:
Our client, a small but well-established financial services company, seeks to employ a Junior Payroll and Financial Services Administrator to join this professional and supportive team.
 
Please note that this is a hands-on administrative and compliance-focused position, requiring a highly organised individual with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple statutory and administrative deadlines.
 
Furthermore, this role is ideal to candidates resident in the Southern Suburbs and preference will be given to candidates resident in the surrounding suburbs

POSITION INFO:
KEY REQUIREMENTS TO MEET FOR CONSIDERATION:
 

• You will have completed Matric, coupled with 1-3 years experience in payroll and financial services administration.
• You will have expertise in payroll administration, general administration and statutory compliance, with exposure to SARS, UIF and COIDA requirements.
• You must have a proven track record in accurately processing and maintaining payroll and employee-related documentation, completing statutory submissions and managing administrative records.
• Your advanced skills in Microsoft Office, administration, record-keeping and working with confidential financial and employee information will be essential.
• You must be able to work closely with clients, employees, management and external regulatory bodies, maintaining professional communication at all times.
• The ability to work effectively in a pressurised environment, with strong organisational skills, attention to detail and the ability to prioritise multiple deadlines is essential.
• You must demonstrate excellent communication skills, initiative, reliability and the ability to work independently while also contributing effectively within a small team.
• You must have a clear criminal and credit record.
