SUMMARY:

Our client, based in Centurion, is looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Junior Payroll Administrator to support the payroll team with day-to-day administrative tasks.

POSITION INFO:
Duties & Responsibilities:

Assist with the preparation submission of monthly payroll reports.
Capture and update bulk employee payroll data including hours worked, leave taken, and deductions for final review, completion and submission toe clients.
Support the processing of statutory applications such as UIF, PAYE, SDL and COIDA -prepare submission files.
Maintain accurate payroll records and filing systems.
Submit payroll-related documentation to relevant government departments and third-party providers.
Reconcile payroll data and assist in resolving discrepancies.
Assist with collection and preparation of weekly/monthly payroll data received.

Requirements:

Matric
Payroll Certificate is advantageous.
4 - 5 years' experience in payroll or administration
Basic understanding of South African payroll legislation and statutory requirements.
Familiarity with payroll software (e.g Sage, VIP) is a bonus.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
Focus on supporting a high volume of deliverables.
Bilingual in English and Afrikaans,
