Our reputable client is looking for an energetic, practical, and quick-thinking Junior Nursery Manager to join their team in Ixopo. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a genuine passion for agriculture who wants to build their career in a hands-on farming environment.

The ideal candidate

 We are looking for someone who:

• Comes from a farming or agricultural background

• Has a relevant Agricultural Degree or Diploma

• Is practical, energetic and enjoys an outdoor lifestyle

• Is a quick thinker who can take initiative and solve problems

• Has a strong work ethic and is not afraid to get their hands dirty

• Is passionate about farming, plants and agriculture

• Can communicate confidently in isiZulu

• Is willing to learn and take responsibility

• Has good organisational skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team

The role

 As Junior Nursery Manager, you will be involved in the day-to-day management of the nursery, including plant production, staff coordination, stock management and general nursery operations.

This is a hands-on position suited to someone who enjoys being outside, working with people and plants, and being part of a productive agricultural operation.
