Our client (Durban), a gear manufacturer is recruiting a Junior Metallurgist.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Minimum Requirements:
  • BTech, National diploma (Material Science or Metallurgy) or related technical qualification.
  • Minimum 1-3 years’ related experience.
  • General Metallurgy knowledge (metallographic analysis, heat changes).
  • Micro Vickers and Rockwell C hardness tester knowledge.
  • Sample collecting & preparation and mounting knowledge.
Attributes:
  • Detail orientated.
  • Communication skills.
  • Willingness to learn.
