POSITION INFO:

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in the design, development and implementation of mechatronic systems and solutions
Support the integration of mechanical components with electronics, sensors and control systems
Contribute to automation projects, including PLC programming and embedded system development
Perform system testing, troubleshooting and optimisation to ensure performance and reliability
Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams on innovative product development
Participate in prototyping, commissioning and continuous improvement initiatives
Prepare technical documentation, reports and system specifications

Minimum Requirements:

BEng/BSc degree in Mechatronic Engineering
0–2 years’ experience in a relevant engineering environment
Strong understanding of control systems, electronics and mechanical design principles
Exposure to PLCs, microcontrollers or embedded systems would be advantageous
Proficiency in CAD software (e.g. SolidWorks, Inventor) is beneficial
Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for innovation
Ability to work both independently and within a team
