Junior Mechanical Engineer

POSITION INFO:

Responsibilities:

Create detailed mechanical designs and technical drawings using Solid Edge and AutoCAD or similar.
Perform reverse engineering on components and assemblies using measuring equipment.
Compile reports on failures, assessments, and technical findings, providing accurate documentation.
Support engineering teams with product modifications, upgrades, designs and drawings.
Ensure accuracy and attention to detail in all technical drawings and documentation.
Collaborate with production, quality, and technical departments to resolve design or manufacturing issues.
Maintain drawing standards, revision control, and compliance with engineering

Qualifications, Experience & Knowledge required:

1. B Eng. or B-Tech degree in mechanical engineering or similar.
2. Some experience in the mechanical engineering field will be an advantage.
3. Can also be Junior engineer who we will train in the gearing field.
4. Industrial Gearbox and Gear manufacturing experience will be an advantage.
5. Highly Computer literate
6. Must have valid code 08 driver license
