POSITION INFO:
Are you a technically minded go-getter with a knack for turning ideas into detailed, buildable drawings? A well-established company in the storage solutions sector is looking for a Junior Draughtsman to join their Johannesburg team. This is the perfect opportunity to gain experience across both design and on-site project exposure while working with industry pros.

ð¨ Non-Negotiable Requirements:

Certificate in CAD and Inventor software
Fluent in English
Own reliable transport
High school completion certificate

âï¸ Job Experience & Skills Required:

Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines
Experience creating and modifying technical drawings using CAD & Inventor
Translate customer order specs into professional drawings for racking and mezzanine floor systems
Basic understanding of structural and/or mechanical drafting (advantageous)
Ensure that designs comply with national building standards
Conduct occasional site visits for measurements and planning
Prepare rough sketches, then translate into 3D CAD models
Issue completion certificates and liaise with accounts and warehouse teams
Strong time management, attention to detail, and ability to take constructive feedback
