SUMMARY:
On behalf of our esteemed client, a dynamic and innovative player in the manufacturing industry, we are seeking a Junior Mechanical Design Engineer to join their growing team.

POSITION INFO:
The successful candidate will support the mechanical design team in developing high-quality, cost-effective, and innovative mechanical components and systems. You’ll gain hands-on experience in the full product development cycle, working closely with senior engineers and cross-functional teams.

Minimum Requirements:

BEng Degree in Mechanical Engineering (essential)
1 – 3 years’ experience in a mechanical design role
Proficient in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, Autodesk Inventor, Creo, or similar)
Basic knowledge of mechanical systems, manufacturing processes, and material selection
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Enthusiastic, self-motivated, and eager to learn and grow

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in the design and development of mechanical components, assemblies, and systems
Prepare 3D models, 2D drawings, and BOMs using CAD tools
Support design reviews and prototype evaluations
Work with manufacturing and suppliers to ensure design feasibility and cost-effectiveness
Conduct basic simulations and stress analysis under supervision
Maintain design documentation and change control records
