SUMMARY:
New role is available for a Junior Mechanical Artisan for our client in the Automotive/Engineering Industry, based in Amanzimtoti KZN.

POSITION INFO:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Mechanical Artisan with 3-5 years of experience in the automotive industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assembling, maintaining, and repairing mechanical systems and components in automotive industry.

You will work as part of a dynamic team, ensuring that our products meet the highest quality standards and are delivered on time.

Requirements:

• Completion of a relevant technical program or apprenticeship in mechanical engineering or a related field.
• 3-5 years of hands-on experience in the automotive industry as a mechanical artisan
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose problems effectively
• Proficiency in the operation of mechanical tools and equipment, alongside a solid understanding of automotive systems and technologies.

• Assembly and Maintenance: Assemble and maintain mechanical systems and components of automotive vehicles, ensuring adherence to quality and safety standards.
• Diagnosis and Repair: Diagnose mechanical issues and perform repairs.
• Collaboration: Work closely with engineering and production teams to optimize assembly processes and troubleshoot design issues.
• Quality Control: Conduct inspections of assembled components and systems to ensure they meet specifications and are free from defects.
• Compliance: Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations, as well as company policies and procedures.
• Continuous Improvement: Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and quality.
