Junior Maintenance Technician

Location: Germiston

Salary: R20 000 p/m

We’re on the hunt for a motivated Junior Maintenance Technician to support our busy maintenance department! You’ll be hands-on with electrical & mechanical maintenance, fault finding, and preventative maintenance — ensuring smooth production with minimal downtime. Perfect for a recently qualified Millwright or someone eager to grow in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

What you’ll need:

Electrical/Millwright/Mechatronics qualification

Millwright Trade Test (no/limited post-qualification experience welcome!)

Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, PLC & HMI systems

Safety-conscious, self-driven, and able to work under pressure

Skills: Basic computer literacy, Microsoft Office, diagnostic tools, and exposure to maintenance systems.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist with breakdowns & preventative maintenance

Support installations of new machinery

Ensure safe working practices & compliance

Keep production running smoothly with minimal downtime
