This is an exciting opportunity to join a highly respected loss adjusting firm, as a Junior Loss Adjuster. The role is ideally suited to an engineer with around 2–4 years’ experience who enjoys problem-solving, investigating how things work, understanding why failures occur, and applying technical insight in a commercial, insurance and risk environment.

You will be exposed to complex industrial and engineering-related claims across sectors such as energy, mining, power generation, renewables, marine, refining and chemicals. This is a fantastic opportunity for a curious, analytical and ambitious engineer who is keen to build a niche, highly specialised career with international exposure and long-term growth potential.

POSITION INFO:

• BSc. or BEng. Chemical or Mechanical Engineer 
• Must have on-site experience 
• 2-4 years experience (engineering experience)
• High performer
• Able to communicate technical concepts clearly (verbally, presentations, through reports)
• Confident, sociable and enquiring personality
• Willing to travel frequently on short stay trips (2-3 nights at a time) in Africa and around South Africa.
