Junior Legal Associate

SUMMARY:
Our client is seeking an experienced Junior Legal Associate (Temporary Contract) For a 4-month contract to join their company in Durbanville, Cape Town.

POSITION INFO:
Job Requirements:
Fully Bilingual
Good verbal and written skills
Work well under pressure
Must be computer literate
Legal litigation experience and legal suite experience are essential.

Job Duties:
Assist with Litigation Processes – Support legal teams in drafting legal documents, preparing case files, and managing court submissions.
Legal Research & Analysis – Conduct thorough research on case law, statutes, and regulations to provide insights for ongoing litigation.
Document Management using Legal Suite – Maintain and organise legal documents efficiently using legal suite software to ensure accuracy and accessibility.
Case Preparation Support – Help in gathering evidence, reviewing contracts, and preparing briefs for hearings and trials.
Client & Stakeholder Communication – Liaise with internal teams, external counsel, and clients to facilitate legal processes.
Administrative Assistance – Perform general legal administrative tasks, including scheduling, file management, and correspondence drafting.

Salary:
R10 000 CTC
