JOB VACANCY: Junior Inventory Clerk

POSITION INFO:

Position: Junior Inventory Clerk
Reporting to: Head of IT Asset Management
Seniority Level: Entry Level (up to 2 yrs exp)
Type: Contractor
Duties and Responsibilities:

Stock Monitoring & Control: Track all incoming and outgoing inventory, ensuring proper storage and organization.
Record Keeping: Maintain detailed and accurate inventory records using computer systems and other technologies.
Auditing & Discrepancy Reporting: Conduct regular physical counts of inventory and reconcile any differences between physical stock and system records, reporting discrepancies to managers.
Receiving & Distribution: Receive incoming shipments, verify contents, and distribute stock or supplies to other departments as needed.
Data Entry: Input new items, adjust inventory levels, and update various inventory records in the system.

Required Skills:
Microsoft Office Suite experience (Intermediate), 6 months - 2 years of experience in a warehouse environment, Resolving queries, Experience with a ticketing system (Advantage), Able to work under pressure, Analytical thinkingSectors: Logistics, Warehouse & Freight, Information Technology
Functions: Database Administrator, Stock Controller, Consultant - Datawarehousing
Qualification Types: Certificates/Certification, Technical Qualification
