Junior IT Technician, East London

SUMMARY:

We are seeking a Junior IT Technician for a permanent role in the retail sector, based in East London, Eastern Cape

POSITION INFO:
Applicants are required to meet the following criteria:
 

• Grade 12 with A+ and N+ certificates
• 2+ years working experience in a similar IT role
• Advantageous – MCSE / MCITP / Active Directory and MS Server experience / VMware & Hyver V experience
• Good communication skills and forward thinking
• Valid drivers and willingness to travel extensively

• Remote & On-Site Support – 1st and 2nd line remote and onsite support; POS installations; IT maintenance & management; manage 3rd party support calls
• Hardware & Software – Manage / maintenance software: MS OS, MS 365, Pastel Evolution, Third Party Software; configure/maintain hardware – desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, biometric readers
• Infrastructure – Configure / maintain IT infrastructure; provide solutions; LAN infrastructure
• Training – Provide training and ensure training material is updated
