Junior Financial Administrator

SUMMARY:
The Financial Administrator is responsible for maintaining accurate stock levels, supporting management with audits and stock takes, and ensuring data integrity within inventory systems. The role requires attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Purpose of the Position:
To manage and maintain inventory, support management with stock takes, and assist with the implementation of new systems.

Minimum Qualifications and Experience:

• Matric certificate.
• Previous experience in a hotel, retail, or similar environment.
• Hardworking, dedicated, and motivated.
• Energetic, enthusiastic, and a positive team player.
• Willingness to work shifts.
• Ability to work under pressure.
• Own transport preferable.

• Maintain inventory by replenishing items, overseeing purchases, audits, and internal stock transfers.
• Maintain purchase and pricing reports and ensure stock levels are up-to-date.
• Compile, sort, and prepare source documents according to provided instructions.
• Verify the accuracy of data before entering it into the system and correct any visible errors.
• Enter information into designated databases or systems accurately and double-check entries.
• Process data updates and deletions according to specific instructions.
• Transcribe and organize data from source documents into electronic formats.
• Review completed work for accuracy and make necessary edits.
• Identify, label, and organize electronic storage media while maintaining security and confidentiality.
