An international automotive manufacturing firm based in Pretoria West is looking to hire a determined, attentive Junior Finance Officer for their ever-progressing finance department.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

An international automotive manufacturing firm based in Pretoria West is looking to hire a determined, attentive Junior Finance Officer for their ever-progressing finance department.

This is a multi-skilled position with primary responsibility to perform routine accounting functions such as ledger/account maintenance, reconciliations and posting journals.

Duties will include, but not be limited to:

Creating sales invoices and reports
Creating new vendors on system
Verifying processing on system
Signing off on creditors reconciliations
Processing payments on banking online
Bank reconciliation
VAT reconciliation
Salaries calculations and reconciliations
Debtors reconciliation
Stock reconciliation
International Debit Notes
Petty Cash reconciliation

Education Requirements:

BCom degree in finance or accounting

Skills & Experience:

2 to 3 years' experience in an accounting role is essential
SAP working knowledge is essential
Excellent skills in Microsoft Excel
Strong personality
Ability to work in a highly pressured and fast paced environment
