Role Overview:
The Junior Farm Manager will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the weaner and grower site. This role involves overseeing livestock operations, ensuring efficient site management, and supporting operational excellence through effective planning, maintenance, logistics, and record keeping.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage the weaner and grower site and all related daily operations
Oversee livestock selection and ensure animal welfare standards are maintained
Coordinate maintenance of facilities, equipment, and infrastructure
Manage logistics and fleet operations, including vehicle and equipment usage
Handle stock management, including inventory control and reporting
Maintain accurate record keeping and operational documentation
Support operational efficiency and compliance with company standards
Perform additional farm management duties as required
Requirements:
Previous experience in a farming or agricultural environment
An agricultural qualification will be advantageous
Practical, hands-on approach to farm operations
Strong organisational and record-keeping skills
Ability to work independently and take responsibility for site operations
