POSITION INFO:
A leading financial solutions company is on the hunt for a Junior Data Scientist to join their high-performance analytics team in Cape Town. Key Responsibilities:

Wrangle and explore large, complex datasets to unlock insights and create business value.

Apply machine learning and AI techniques to optimise processes and strategies.

Use Python, R, and SQL to automate, innovate, and visualise data effectively.

Job Experience and Skills Required:

Education: Recent graduate in Data Science, Mathematics, Actuarial Science, Statistics, or another quantitative field.
Experience: Up to 1 year in a data-focused role (Bonus: exposure to financial services, credit, or fintech).
Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in Python, R, and SQL.
Other: Exposure to machine learning / AI projects (through studies, work, or personal projects). A curious, growth-driven mindset with strong communication skills.
