Junior Data Analyst

SUMMARY:
Our client, specializing in financial analytics, is seeking a Junior Data Analyst to join their dynamic team and contribute to their mission of providing actionable insights in the finance industry.

POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities:

• Data Collection & Management: Collect, clean, and organize data from various sources, ensuring accuracy and integrity. Maintain and update databases and systems.
• Data Analysis: Analyze large datasets to identify anomalies and trends.
• Reporting & Visualization: Create and maintain dashboards and reports to communicate insights to stakeholders effectively.
• Collaboration: Partner with the finance team to understand data needs and provide valuable insights. Work with IT and other departments to implement data-driven solutions.
• Continuous Improvement: Propose and implement process improvements. Stay current with industry trends and best practices.

• Education:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Advanced Degree or Certification is a plus.
• Experience: 3-5 years in data analysis within the finance industry.
• Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in SQL, Python, R, and advanced Excel.
  • Experience with Tableau, Power BI, or similar tools.
  • Familiarity with financial databases.
• Analytical Skills:
  • Strong analytical abilities with a keen eye for detail.
  • Capable of interpreting complex data and presenting it clearly.
• Communication Skills:
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to explain findings to non-technical stakeholders.
