Junior Creditors Clerk (3-Month Contract)

Location: Parow East
Employment Type: Fixed-Term Contract (3 Months)

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Creditors Clerk to join our team on a 3-month fixed-term contract. The successful candidate will assist with day-to-day accounts payable functions and ensure accurate and timely processing of financial information.

Key Responsibilities:

Capturing and processing supplier invoices accurately
Performing creditors reconciliations and resolving discrepancies
Managing invoice filing and record keeping
Assisting with VAT-related processing and compliance
Preparing payment schedules
Liaising with suppliers regarding account queries
Supporting the finance team with ad hoc administrative tasks

Minimum Requirements:

1–2 years’ experience in a creditors/accounts payable role
Experience working on Xero
Basic understanding of VAT processes
Strong reconciliation skills
High level of accuracy and attention to detail
Good communication and organisational skills
Proficient in Microsoft Excel

Advantageous:

Relevant finance or accounting qualification (or studying towards one)
Experience in a fast-paced or manufacturing environment
