POSITION INFO:
This established mining company is a key player in the resources sector, known for its commitment to operational excellence and sustainable growth. As the Business Controller, you will report directly to the Head of Finance and collaborate with operational and executive teams. Your role will be critical in driving cost control, financial planning, and business performance insights. You will take ownership of budgeting and forecasting processes, conduct in-depth cost analysis, and ensure accurate reporting. Your ability to distinguish between reliable data and misleading trends will be key in providing clear insights that influence strategic decisions.
Job Experience and Skills Required:
- CIMA qualification is essential.
- Proven costing experience in the mining or heavy industry sector.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
- Expertise in budgeting, forecasting, and cost analysis.
- Demonstrated ability to identify and interpret meaningful financial data amidst complexity.
- A proactive, analytical mindset with a focus on operational impact.
