Junior Brand Manager

Our client specializes in self-adhesive signage and personalized consumer products. They are looking for a Junior Brand Manager to join their team in Muizenberg, Cape Town.

Requirements

·        Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Marketing, Business Management, Project Management, or a related field.

·        1- 2 years’ experience in Brand Management or Project Management, or Marketing.

·        Experience managing product categories from concept through to commercialization.

·        Proficient in Microsoft Excel

·        Experience working with suppliers, manufacturers and cross-functional teams.

·        Valid driver's license and willingness to travel for trade shows, customer visits and store visits when required.

Duties

·        Take ownership of the overall performance and profitability of assigned product categories.

·        Develop and implement category strategies to drive sales, profitability and market growth.

·        Manage the full product lifecycle, from market research and product development through to product launch.

·        Analyse sales, market trends and consumer insights to identify opportunities and support strategic decision-making.

·        Develop pricing, promotional and product positioning strategies to maximise category performance.

·        Support the Sales team with category insights, product training and marketing material.

·        Work closely with marketing to execute marketing campaigns, trade shows and digital initiatives to build brand awareness and drive sales.

·        Lead cross-functional projects by collaborating with Operations, Production, Sales, Purchasing, Finance and Graphics.

·        Manage projects, budgets and supplier relationships to ensure successful delivery on time and within budget.
