Our client, based in Markman, Gqeberha, has an opportunity available for a Junior Bookkeeper to join their Finance Team. Ideal candidate to start immediately.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Duties:
  • Processing of Multiple Company Bank Statements (Daily, Bi-Weekly)
  • Processing of Petrol & Credit Card Statements
  • Processing of Expense Card Slips & Allocating Payments and following up outstanding slips
  • Processing of the FNB Fleet Statements
  • Bank Reconciliations
  • Invoice Customers for Cash Deposit Fees
  • Updating Cash Flow Reports Monthly
  • Ensuring all debit orders processed and allocated correctly
  • Intercompany allocations
  • VAT Returns for multiple companies
  • Petty Cash processing and reconciliation
  • Loading and capturing cash and supplier payments
  • Allocation of customer refunds
  • Month End Reports
  • Stats SA
  • Intercompany transfers
  • Loading recipients onto to banking profiles
  • Speedpoint machine reconciliations
Requirements:
  • Matric
  • Minimum of 1 to 3 years experience
  • Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines
  • Knowledge of bookkeeping practices
  • Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles and procedures
  • MS Office
