SUMMARY:
DBN000361 - Junior Accounts Manager (Half Day Position)| Port Elizabeth

Purpose of the Job:
We are looking for a driven, client-focused Junior Accounts Manager to join our growing team in South Africa. To handle day-to-day financial administration, ensure local tax and regulatory compliance, and free up senior staff for high-level strategy

Required Qualifications:

Education: Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or similar
Experience: Minimum 3-5 years Accounting/Senior Bookkeeping Experience
Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English (additional South African languages are a plus).
Skills: Strong organizational skills, a problem-solving mindset, and the ability to multitask under tight deadlines.

POSITION INFO:
Technical Competencies & Experience:

Bookkeeping & Transactions: Post daily journal entries, process vendor invoices, and record customer payments.
Account Reconciliations: Perform monthly bank, accounts payable, and accounts receivable reconciliations.
Financial Reporting Support: Help prepare balance sheets, income statements, and basic financial reports.
Month-End Closing: Assist with accruals, prepayments, and ledger closing activities.
Audit & Tax Prep: Gather data, organize receipts, and compile schedules for external audits and tax filings.
Discrepancy Resolution: Investigate and fix billing errors or mismatched transaction records.
