JOB DESCRIPTION:

Responsibilities:

  • Processing monthly financial information to trial balance (includes monthly cashbook, monthly journals, etc.).
  • Preparation of monthly audit files for management reports.
  • Preparation and commentary on monthly management account reports.
  • Reconciliation, preparation and submission of VAT and PAYE returns,
  • Statutory payments, i.e., VAT, PAYE, etc.
  • Attending daily queries.
  • Keeping track of cheque bank balance and preparation of cash flows for the month.
  • Creditors and Debtors experience

Requirements:

  • Matric
  • Relevant Bookkeeping certification/ Tertiary education (Accounting).
  • At least 3+ years experience (Quickbooks/Pastel advantageous)
  • Accurate and able to meet deadlines in a fast paced environment.
