SUMMARY:
Our client in Lynwood area is currently looking for a Junior Bookkeeper

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Minimum Requirements:

Matric
Post Graduate qualification in finance would be advantageous
Minimum 3 years’ relevant experience
Bilingual
Own Transport
Bookkeeping function
Debtors and Creditors Management and Reconciliations
Balance Cashbook on QuickBooks daily
Experience with the following programs:
- QuickBooks Online
- SARS E-filing and E@syfile
- Microsoft Office (Intermediate Excel)
- SOS Inventory (would be advantageous) or similar manufacturing software
- SAGE Online Payroll

Duties and Responsibilities
Assisting group accountant

Bank, Debtors, Creditors and other reconciliations
Data Capturing and Processing of Invoices (Debtors and Creditors) on QuickBooks
Import transaction templates to Quick
Books
Assist with monthly journals
VAT, PAYE, UIF processing and calculations
Assist with Bi-Annual IRP 5 Reconciliations on SARS E@syfile
Assist with Loading of payments on internet banking for release by management
General administration
Filing
Manage stationery and consumables
Other related reasonable tasks that will arise from time to time
