SUMMARY:
A client of ours within the Finance Sector is looking for a Junior Bookkeeper to join their dynamic team.

POSITION INFO:
Location
Kwa Zulu Natal

Requirements:

Studying towards relevant Accounting and Tax qualification, Degree, or Higher Diploma
1 – 2 years of Relevant tax/accounting/ and bookkeeping experience
Sage Pastel proficient

Responsibilities:

Assist Accountant/Senior tax consultant with day-to-day bookkeeping duties on Pastel including but not limited to capturing bank statements, bank reconciliations, income statements, and VAT reports
Process monthly journals as required by Accountant/Senior tax
Keep filing of client documents up to date
Compile management reports to be signed off by the Accountant/Senior
Communicate details of outstanding client documentation to the Accountant/Senior tax
Keep daily, progress and any other relevant reports up to date
General admin duties as and when required
Provide professional and effective tax and bookkeeping services
