Junior Bookkeeper

Selby, Johannesburg
Salary: R15 000 – R18 000 per month

Midvaal Recruitment is currently seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Bookkeeper for a well-established company based in Selby.

This is an excellent opportunity for a junior finance professional looking to grow their accounting career within a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Minimum Requirements

Matric (Non-Negotiable)
Certificate or Diploma in Bookkeeping or Accounting, or currently studying towards a relevant qualification
2–3 years' experience in Accounting or Bookkeeping
Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
Experience working with financial reporting tools
Financial package knowledge preferred
SAP Business One experience will be advantageous

Key Responsibilities

Assist with general ledger reconciliations and financial reporting
Process daily banking transactions and payments
Manage petty cash administration
Assist with VAT-related duties
Assist with fixed asset administration
General finance and administrative support
Prepare and maintain financial reports
Support the Finance Manager with daily accounting functions
