Junior Attorney

Our client is seeking a motivated and professional Junior Attorney to join their legal team based in Potchefstroom. The successful candidate will be responsible for representing clients in court, attending court appearances, and assisting with litigation matters. This is an excellent opportunity for a newly admitted or junior attorney looking to gain practical courtroom experience and build a successful legal career. Key Responsibilities Attend court and represent clients in various legal matters. Conduct regular court appearances in the Magistrates' Court and other courts where applicable. Draft legal documents, pleadings, notices, and correspondence. Manage litigation files from inception to finalisation. Conduct legal research and prepare legal opinions. Liaise professionally with clients, advocates, correspondents, and court officials. Ensure all work complies with legal, ethical, and professional standards. Assist with general legal and administrative duties as required. Minimum Requirements LLB Degree. Admitted Attorney of the High Court of South Africa. Right of appearance in the relevant courts. Sound knowledge of litigation procedures. Valid driver's licence will be advantageous. Experience Newly admitted attorneys are encouraged to apply.
