Junior Airfreight Export Documentation Clerk

SUMMARY:

Role Overview

POSITION INFO:

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and prepare export shipments from collection to final delivery.
• Manage all export documentation, including PPECB certificates, Certificates of Origin, SAD500 customs submissions, and DAFF/PPECB inspections.
• Liaise with clients, operations, airlines, and warehouse staff.
• Capture bookings and shipment data accurately into EasyClear.
• Ensure client SOPs are followed and deadlines are met.
• Proactively resolve tracking, tracing, and transit time issues.
• Support clients with regulatory compliance and export administration advice.

Requirements

• Matric Certificate (minimum requirement).
• 2+ years’ experience in Airfreight Exports (preferred).
• Valid driver’s license with reliable transport.
• Intermediate MS Excel skills and strong computer literacy.
• Ability to manage high‑volume workloads with accuracy and efficiency.
• Excellent attention to detail and strong administrative skills.
• Proactive, team‑oriented attitude with professional communication skills.
• Willingness to work weekends and public holidays as required in the airfreight industry.
