Job title: Jnr Admitted Attorney

Location: Groenkloof, Pretoria

Salary: Market related

Job Duties:

• Assist senior attorneys with legal research and case preparation
• Draft basic legal documents (letters, contracts, pleadings, affidavits)
• Review and summarise case files and legislation
• Maintain and update legal files
• Assist with court filings and compliance with deadlines
• Track matters and diarise key dates
• Conduct legal research using legislation and case law
• Prepare legal opinions and summaries for review
• Assist with due diligence and document review
• Liaise with clients under supervision
• Communicate with courts, advocates, and opposing attorneys
• Attend consultations and court (where required)

Requirements:

• LLB Degree (completed)
• Admission as an Attorney 
• Articles completed or nearing completion (advantage)
• Basic understanding of South African law and legal procedures
• Exposure to litigation, contracts, or commercial law (advantage)
• Fluent in English and Afrikaans
• Willingness to learn and be mentored
• Professional conduct and strong work ethic
• Ability to work under supervision
