POSITION INFO:
An established organisation within the imports and logistics sector is looking for a Junior Admin Imports Controller to join their team in Kliprivier, Meyerton. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious junior professional to gain practical exposure to the day-to-day coordination and administration of international shipments. You'll work closely with suppliers, freight forwarders, customs brokers, and internal teams to ensure import documentation is accurate, shipments are processed efficiently, and records are kept up to date. The role offers valuable exposure to the operational and administrative side of international trade, providing a strong foundation for long-term growth within logistics and supply chain.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Assist with preparing and managing import documentation, including purchase orders, shipping documents, and customer declarations
• Support import compliance processes and ensure documentation meets relevant regulatory requirements
• Liaise with suppliers, freight forwarders, and customs brokers regarding shipments
• Assist with tracking incoming shipments and maintaining accurate inventory records
• Reconcile inventory records and assist with resolving discrepancies
• Assist with monitoring and managing import-related costs
• Prepare reports relating to import expenses
• Process GVRs

• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, International Trade, or a related field advantageous
• 1–2 years’ relevant experience
• Experience within freight, shipping, imports, or logistics advantageous
• Strong administrative and organisational skills
