SUMMARY:
A well-established organisation within the engineering, construction, and mining sector is seeking a Junior Accountant to join their finance team in Kempton Park. This is an excellent opportunity to gain exposure to a project-driven and operationally focused environment.

POSITION INFO:
Job & Company Description:
The successful candidate will support the finance team across core accounting functions, assisting with financial reporting, reconciliations, and day-to-day accounting processes. This role is ideal for someone looking to build solid experience within a technical industry

Duties:

General accounting and bookkeeping
Assisting with financial reporting
Balance sheet reconciliations
Processing journals and maintaining financial records
Supporting month-end and year-end processes
Assisting with audit and compliance requirements

Qualifications & Skills:

BCom Accounting or related qualification
Minimum 2+ years’ experience in a similar role
Experience within engineering, construction, or mining environments advantageous
Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced, project-driven environment
