POSITION INFO:
This well-established organisation is looking to appoint a motivated Junior Accountant to join their finance team. The successful candidate will gain exposure to a broad range of accounting functions while working in a collaborative and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist with the preparation of financial statements and management reports
Perform reconciliations, including bank, debtor, and creditor reconciliations
Support the month-end and year-end financial processes
Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with accounting standards
Assist with tax submissions and regulatory requirements

Job Experience and Skills Required:

Completed or near completion of SAIPA articles
Experience gained during SAIPA articles or within an accounting practice
Exposure to financial reporting and accounting processes
Experience with QuickBooks and Draftworx
Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
