Junior Accountant

SUMMARY:
Our client within the Financial Services sector is looking to appoint a Junior Accountant for their branch in the northern suburbs of Bloemfontein.  Purpose of the role:  Provide administrative and accounting support by performing clerical duties, assisting with financial recordkeeping, and ensuring accuracy in day-to-day tasks.

POSITION INFO:

• BCom Accounting or at least 5 years' experience in an accounting or bookkeeping role
• Excellent attention to detail
• Ability to maintain clear and accurate financial records
• Strong administrative and organisational skills
• Advanced Excel proficiency
• Provide administrative support including filing, E-filing, handling incoming and outgoing mail, answering phone calls
• Assist with basic bookkeeping and maintaining accurate financial records
• Perform bank reconciliations 
• Assist with e-filing on behalf of clients
• Use accounting and administrative software applications as required
