POSITION INFO:

Record financial transactions and prepare accurate, timely reports.
Post accounting data from source documents such as invoices, cash receipts, and supplier bills into accounting journals or software.
Manage purchasing of supplies and equipment as authorized.
Process and pay supplier invoices promptly and settle debts on time.
Issue customer invoices and record cash receipts.
Make bank deposits and perform monthly reconciliations across all accounts.
Conduct periodic reconciliations to ensure accuracy across the board.
Maintain petty cash funds and track related transactions.
Compile documentation and assist in preparing for annual external audits.
Keep an organized, up-to-date accounting filing system.
Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal reporting requirements.
Provide clerical and administrative support to management as needed.

Skills & Experience:
Minimum 2–3 years of relevant accounting experience.
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Sage, Pastel, QuickBooks) and MS Excel.
Strong understanding of accounting principles and reconciliation processes.
Ability to prepare, analyze, and interpret financial reports.
Detail-oriented, organized, and eager to contribute to a growing team.

Bcom in accounting
