Junior Accountant

SUMMARY:
Our client is looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Accountant to join their finance team in George. The ideal candidate has either completed their SAICA Articles or has 1–3 years of accounting experience post-graduation. POSITION INFO:

• Posting journal entries and reconciling general ledger accounts

• Assisting with month-end and year-end closing processes

• Preparing VAT submissions and other statutory returns

• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records

• Supporting the Finance Manager with financial reporting and analysis

• Assisting with audits and liaising with external auditors

• Handling ad hoc accounting and administrative tasks as required
