POSITION INFO:

    Employment Type: Full-Time

    Salary: R8,000.00 probation (3 months), thereafter R10,000.00 basic + commission

    Responsibilities:

    Account Management & Growth

    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with retail and wholesale partners.
    • Act as the primary contact for assigned accounts, addressing client needs and concerns.
    • Conduct regular meetings with clients to discuss account performance and identify opportunities for growth.
    • Assist in negotiating pricing, order volumes, and timelines with clients.
    • Recognise upselling and cross-selling opportunities to maximise revenue.

    Product & Inventory Coordination

    • Track and analyse product performance with clients to optimise sales strategies.
    • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure stock availability and minimise delays.

    Strategic Planning & Execution

    • Assist in planning product placements to maximise sales and profitability.
    • Work with senior account managers and business development teams to implement sales strategies.

    Communication & Team Collaboration

    • Effectively communicate with internal teams to streamline processes and resolve any client or inventory-related issues.
    • Collaborate with sales, marketing, and operations teams to enhance account performance.
    • Encourage a positive and goal-driven team culture.

    Reporting & Analytics

    • Monitor and report on sales trends and account performance.
    • Provide insights to optimise sales and inventory decisions.
    • Assist in preparing reports and presentations for senior management and clients.

    Key Skills:

    • Strong relationship-building and negotiation skills.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication.
    • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel (e.g., pivot tables and formulas).
    • Strong understanding of inventory and supply chain management.
    • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and identify sales trends.
    • Proactive approach to identifying challenges and implementing effective solutions.
    • Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.

    Minimum Requirements:

    • 1 - 2 years of experience in sales, account management, or a related role.
    • A degree or diploma in Business, Marketing, Supply Chain Management, or a relevant field.
    • Experience with CRM or inventory management systems (experience in consumer electronics is a plus).
    • Strong organisational skills with attention to detail.
    • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
