About the Role
We’re on the hunt for a go-getter Junior SEO Specialist who’s ready to roll up their sleeves, dive into data, and help our clients shine on Google’s front page. You’ll team up with our SEO Specialist and dev squad to cook up strategies that boost rankings, skyrocket organic traffic, and (most importantly) help clients smash their sales goals.
This isn’t a “sit in the corner and click buttons” kind of job — you’ll be learning, experimenting, and making a real impact across multiple industries.
What You’ll Need to Bring to the Table
- 2+ years’ hands-on SEO experience – agency or in-house, as long as you’ve wrestled with rankings before
- A solid grasp of search engine algorithms – and no, we don’t mean guessing what Google had for breakfast
- SEO tool wizardry – Google Analytics, Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, or Screaming Frog (bonus if you know all the shortcuts)
- HTML/CSS basics + WordPress know-how – enough to tweak code without breaking the internet
- Trendspotting skills – staying ahead of the latest SEO updates (including those sneaky algorithm changes)
- Relevant certifications – Google Analytics, HubSpot, SEMrush Academy = shiny badges of honour
Your Day-to-Day Will Include
- Partnering with our SEO Specialist – think Batman & Robin, but with fewer capes
- Tracking, reporting, and analysing website performance – because data doesn’t lie (but it does tell great stories)
- Optimising content – making sure it ranks and makes readers stick around
- Keyword research – finding those golden nuggets everyone else missed
- Competitor analysis – spying, but in a completely legal and ethical way
- Building links that count – because not all backlinks are created equal
- Working with developers – ensuring shiny new code is also search-engine-friendly
- Collaborating with marketing – making content irresistible to both Google and humans
- Making smart recommendations – because “just wing it” isn’t in our vocabulary
