SUMMARY:
Title: Branding Coordinator/ Jnr Graphic Designer
Location: Midrand, Johannesburg

Our client, in the Manufacturing and Supplying of Branded Corporate Clothing and Gifts industry, is looking for a Branding Coordinator/ Jnr Graphic Designer to join their team in Midrand. This role plays a vital role in obtaining final client artwork approval of digital illustrations of products and product branding. This role will fall apart of the production department which is the heart of the business and plays a vital part in the success of the business. The ideal candidate will be a collaborative team player with strong communication and organizational skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced, high pressured working environment.
 
Required Qualifications and Working Knowledge:

• Matric
• 1-3 years working experience
• Proven proficiency using the MS Office Suite
• Experience using CorelDraw, Illustrator and Photoshop will be advantageous
• Proficiency using Canva  

POSITION INFO:
Duties and Responsibilities:

• Artwork Approval:
• Prepare graphic illustrations of products as per contract specifications
• Obtain artwork illustrations from suppliers
• Review supplier artwork and compare to customer requirements
• Send artwork to customers to be approved
• Ensure artwork approval takes place on a timely basis to ensure sufficient time for production to be complete
• Send approved artwork to suppliers
• Carry out artwork changes as required
• Communication:
• Liaise on a regular basis with Logistics Coordinator and communicate artwork approval progress
• Regular feedback on the artwork progress should be communicated to sales consultants
• SMS progress notification to customers at critical production stages
• Facilitate communication between the company, customers and suppliers regarding the artwork of a contract
