JUNIOR WAREHOUSE SUPERVISOR– BOOYSENS (3987)

Qualifications:

• Grade 12 / equivalent

Experience and Requirements:

• At least 3 years’ steel industry experience as a Warehouse Supervisor 
• Knowledge of steel and tube products , able to identify the different types of steel & Tube products 
• Computer literate on Ms Office Suite and (Syspro would be an advantage)
• Own Transport and a valid driver’s licence is essential
• Have a stable work record and contactable references
• Of sober habits
• Be physically fit and energetic and able to work on your feet
• Able to work retail hours (including Saturdays & Public Holidays on a roster basis)

Duties and responsibilities:

• Strong supervisory skills
• To perform the full function of receiving and dispatching and work closely with the Warehouse Manager
• Knowledge of mild steel products is essential
• Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Ensure that the correct stock is received and dispatched
• Work closely with the sales staff
• Follow up on queries and provide feedback to customers
