SUMMARY:
Our client a stainless-steel trading company requires a junior Debtors Controller to join their dynamic accounts department.

POSITION INFO:

Qualifications:

Grade 12 / equivalent

Experience and Requirements:

3 or more years recent experience as a Credit Controller (debtors)
Reliable transport
A stable work record and contactable references
Preferably a non- smoker
A clear credit and criminal record
Strong collection and administrative skills
Computer literate with advanced skills in Excel (Spreadsheets)
Reside close to Alberton
Knowledge and understanding of insuring a Debtors book through CGIC
Good verbal and communication skills in English and Afrikaans
Be energetic and vibrant

Duties and Responsibilities:

Cashbook / Cash Flow
Annual Audits
Assist with admin duties related to stock takes
Filing and recordkeeping
Phone for outstanding money

Ensure that all payments are processed daily from bank accounts

Ensure that accounts remain in approved terms
Work closely with the Financial team

Submit weekly and monthly reports
