POSITION INFO:
Our client is a packaging specialist for the agricultural and industrial markets and is actively recruiting for a JUNIOR ACCOUNTANT at their office in Ceres. The position reports to the financial manager.
Job Description
Your primary functions will include, but not limited to:
• Processing of transactions up to Trail balance
• Invoicing
• Monthly VAT submissions and payroll
• Debtors and creditors management
• Assist with yearly audit
• Assist with cash flow management
• Assist with stock holding
• Assist with general administration
• Support to Sales Team
• Perform daily administrative tasks, update information, check reports and follow-up on outstanding issues
The position is varied and interesting and you will be dealing with clients, suppliers and service providers.
Requirements
• Degree/Diploma in Accounting/Finance or in final year of studies
• Completed SAIPA articles (not required, but advantageous)
• Experience with accounting software program (essential)
• Accuracy and attention to detail are critical for success
• Very high level of competency in Excel (Advanced)

• Willingness to learn
• Good written and verbal communications skills in both Afrikaans and English
• Flexible and keen to assist the team and clients
Remuneration
